Live event notes that know the moment

Written as the event runs, a note lands on the capture's timeline at the moment it was taken, and is found again in Player.

Write

The note is pinned to the moment you filed it and the Note Palette clears for the next one, so your eyes stay on the event rather than a notepad. Choose a colour as you write, and the list scans by eye afterwards.

Mark

The thing worth noting rarely waits to be described. Press return on an empty palette and Stamp holds that instant. Write the note whenever there is a gap, and it files against the moment you marked rather than the moment you finished typing.

Context

A note never stands alone. The cue that had just fired on the console, the OSC and MIDI that arrived, the timecode running underneath: all of it sits on the same timeline as the note, so it reads against what was happening rather than against anyone's memory.

Share

A video and its notes combine into a single .stamp bundle that travels between Macs as one file.

Review

Notes captured live are reviewed in Player. Edit the words, change the colour, or tick a note off once it is dealt with. What was written at the time is kept, and one click restores it.
